At The Orchard, we are looking for a highly motivated, forward‑thinking digital marketing and advertising strategist to join our UK team. This role will be responsible for delivering top‑tier marketing services to our label and artist client roster across Black Music genres in the UK, including R&B/Soul, Hip‑Hop, Rap, Afro‑Beats and more. The ideal candidate will create and execute strategic always‑on digital marketing campaigns designed to generate publicity and awareness, build audiences, run effective CRM strategies, and engage fanbases to drive sales and revenue for new releases and catalogue titles.
This position reports to the Senior Director, Marketing Strategy and will receive project direction from the Relationship Lead.
What You'll Do
 * Serve as the marketing point of contact for assigned labels and artists, leading discussions around marketing strategies, campaign planning, data collection and CRM execution and ongoing performance evaluation.
 * Conceptualise and execute creative marketing campaigns to remain at the forefront of marketing and audience development.
 * Oversee and manage marketing campaigns for high‑priority releases, driving informed decisions based on data and performance metrics while staying current on online trends and tools.
 * Analyse the impact of campaigns and the value of various fan segments, identifying trends and opportunities to optimise pre‑ and post‑release strategies.
 * Seek opportunities for artist and label development through internal resources and external tools or services that enhance campaign efforts, working with multiple departments to bring innovative marketing activations to life.
 * Collaborate with local market teams globally to identify and utilise cultural touchpoints for audience acquisition and engagement.
 * Proactively identify challenges and provide solutions to keep release campaigns on track, demonstrating flexibility and a balanced focus on label needs.
Who You Are
 * Minimum of 2 years in digital marketing within the music industry (label, distributor, DSP, etc.) or a similar field, with a proven track record of successful campaign development and execution.
 * Strong understanding and knowledge of marketing Black music genres in the United Kingdom.
 * Passionate about the music business and eager to build a career in the industry.
 * Knowledge of booking digital advertisements across platforms including Meta, Google, and TikTok Ads Manager is preferred.
 * In‑depth understanding of social media platforms, current platform trends, and updates.
 * Understanding of digital service provider platforms and how they can be leveraged in campaigns to elevate music consumption and discovery.
 * Strong proficiency in utilizing analytics tools to track and interpret release performance, trends, and metrics.
 * Basic Photoshop, HTML, and video editing software experience is preferred.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to serve as a key liaison between artists, labels, internal teams, and external clients.
 * Familiarity with Google Suite and project management software is a plus.
 * Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously, with meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to prioritise under tight deadlines.
