Role: Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: Up to £55,000 + Performance Bonus
Our client, a large UK organisation within a global group, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their IT team in a hybrid role. This position will focus on the design, support and ongoing improvement of both on-premise and cloud (Azure) infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on security, resilience and availability.
You will play a key role in infrastructure upgrades, new solution design, incident response and disaster recovery planning, working across multiple UK sites with occasional wider travel.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement and support on-premise and Azure-based infrastructure
* Manage servers, virtualised environments, storage (SAN/NAS) and network devices
* Monitor system performance, availability, backups and security
* Support disaster recovery and business continuity processes
* Respond to infrastructure incidents and contribute to continuous improvement
* Maintain technical documentation and share knowledge within the team
