DT Teacher and Student Progress Leader
Location: Oasis Academy Brislington, Bristol
Roles and responsibilities
* SPL (Student Progress Leader): This is a unique chance to play a critical role in our student support structures. The Student Progress Leader is an integral part of providing 360 degrees of care, challenge and support for each individual student. As a leader of a designated year group, you will be determined that, through your leadership, all students in your care achieve their personal best.
* Ensure all students learn and achieve well across the curriculum. Set high expectations for your year group, holding all students to account for impeccable behaviour and high levels of attendance. Promote high achievement, celebrate culture, and work with Tutors and 2 non-teaching 360 Year Team Managers to build and maintain strong relationships with students and their parents/carers.
* Teacher of DT: We are looking for a creative and innovative Teacher of Design Technology to join our team. Work within a wider Creative Arts and Industry faculty and a curriculum that is academically rigorous, diverse and promotes curiosity and independence.
* Contribute to a supportive environment with weekly meetings focused on teaching and learning; receive high-quality support to develop your teaching career.
