Vehicle Technician required in South Bristol
1. Starting salary up to £31,000 per annum plus bonuses with £36-41,000+ uncapped annual on-target earnings.
2. 48 hour week Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm and Saturdays 8:30am-5:00pm.
3. Up to 44 days annual leave (including 8 bank holidays).
Our client, a widely-recognised automotive service centre group with 40 locations nationwide, is currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician for their South Bristol site.
Reporting to the Autocentre Manager and working as part of a large friendly team, your key responsibilities as an Vehicle Technician will include:
4. Carry out repairs and servicing to the highest standards on vehicles and to the appropriate specification.
5. Test and diagnose faults as requested.
6. Examine vehicles, recognise and provide a written report on vehicle (or component) defects or systems of impending failure.
7. Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others.
8. Promote and maintain the our client's image, acting as a brand ambassador.
In order to be eligible you will need to have a UK driving licence with minimal points and be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and ideally hold practical experience within another automotive workshop environment beyond your qualification. Overall you will be a good team player with excellent communication skills, liaising with other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work through the workshop.
