The Opportunity An exciting position is available for a skilled and enthusiastic General Science Teacher at a forward-thinking school in Richmond upon Thames. This role is ideal for a teacher who can deliver engaging and practical lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at Key Stage 3 and 4, fostering a broad scientific understanding and instilling a lifelong love for discovery and inquiry.
The Role You will teach Science across Key Stage 3 and combined or separate sciences at Key Stage 4 (GCSE). The role requires a strong pedagogical approach to practical science, an ability to make complex scientific concepts accessible and exciting for all learners, and a steadfast commitment to safe laboratory practice. You'll actively contribute to departmental planning, the development of innovative assessment strategies, and extracurricular science initiatives, such as science clubs, STEM projects, or educational trips that bring science to life.

The Ideal Candidate The successful applicant will hold QTS and have a strong degree in a scientific discipline. You will be passionate about Science education and possess the ability to teach all three sciences effectively up to GCSE level, demonstrating strong subject knowledge across the curriculum.
