Description
No day will be the same - here are some of the highlights
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver transformative change projects, with an initial focus on a key regulatory change program (Market-Wide Half-Hourly Settlement – MHHS). Your analysis will directly shape the future of how Good Energy operates, ensuring our people, systems and processes are future-ready.
This is a hands-on, high-impact, exciting role for someone who thrives on process thinking, stakeholder engagement, and turning complexity into clarity. This role will evolve and grow alongside Good Energy’s exciting growth plans; however, the following are focused on the role’s key responsibilities in the MHHS program until end of 2026:
Responsibilities:
* Business process mapping: Collaborating with experts across the team to document current and future state business processes, highlighting requirements and areas for change.
* Change gap analysis: Own and deliver structured assessments comparing existing operations to MHHS requirements across systems, processes, customer journeys and performance reports.
* Technical analysis: Analysis of MHHS technical documentation ahead of key milestones, translating this into straightforward action and collaborating with teams on change & implementation planning.
* Testing & data: Support the development and completion of test plans to prove readiness and perform data analysis across technical process areas to make sure requirements and obligations are met.
* Third-party engagement: Collaborate with external solution and service providers to ensure alignment and progress against milestones.
* Training & support: Assist with learning needs analysis and training planning, to ensure teams are upskilled in the required areas, at the right time.
* Cross-functional collaboration: Proactively identify when, where and why additional teams need to be engaged as program requirements evolve, working closely with the project manager to ensure the wider team are aware of responsibilities and deadlines e.g. system development requirements.
