Your new role
This HR Advisor opportunity will include providing proactive, high‑quality support across a broad range of people‑related matters within a large organisation. The role focusses on delivering an effective HR service – confident, solutions‑driven guidance to managers and staff, ensuring consistent application of HR policies and fostering a positive employee experience.Key Responsibilities:
1. Employee relations support: Advising managers on disciplinary, grievance, performance, and sickness absence cases, ensuring fair and timely resolution.
2. Policy interpretation: Guiding colleagues on the correct application of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
3. Data and reporting: Maintaining accurate HR records, preparing reports, and using HR systems to support decision‑making.
4. Some change management support: Assisting with restructures, consultations, and organisational development initiatives.
5. Stakeholder engagement: Building strong relationships with academic and professional services teams to deliver effective HR solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
6. Strong HR advisory experience preferably within aplex, multi‑disciplinary organisation.
7. Up‑to‑date knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.
8. A confidentmunicator able to influence and support managers at all levels.
9. Analytical and detail‑focused with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
10. Preferably CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
