An established commercial property consultancy is expanding its occupier-focused advisory team and is looking to appoint an Service Charge & Lease Analyst.


This is a unique opportunity to work with major corporate occupiers, reviewing lease-related costs, analysing service charge expenditure, identifying cost-saving opportunities and helping clients ensure compliance with lease obligations across large property portfolios.


The role would suit candidates from a property management, service charge, occupier services, lease administration or real estate advisory background who enjoy analysing data, interpreting lease documentation and working directly with clients.


Key Responsibilities

* Review and analyse service charge, insurance and lease-related costs across commercial property portfolios.
* Assess landlord expenditure and supporting documentation to identify potential savings and cost avoidance opportunities.
* Interpret lease provisions and investigate compliance with lease obligations.
* Liaise directly with landlords, managing agents and professional advisers to resolve queries and disputes.
* Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for clients.
* Support ongoing portfolio reviews and recurring client projects.
* Build strong relationships with occupier clients and provide regular progress updates.
* Participate in client meetings and support wider business development initiatives.
* Collaborate with internal property, legal and advisory teams to deliver client solutions.
* Support projects across UK and international property portfolios where required.


Candidate Profile

* Property Management
* Senior Property Management
* Service Charge Management
* Service Charge Analysis
* Occupier Services
* Lease Administration
* Lease Consultancy
* Commercial Property Surveying
* Property Accounting (with strong lease and service charge exposure)


You will ideally have:

* Experience reviewing commercial leases and lease-related documentation.
* Understanding of service charge budgets, reconciliations and year-end processes.
* Knowledge of landlord and tenant relationships within commercial property.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* A proactive and commercially minded approach.
