CCTV Drainage Engineer

Deepham Sewage Treatment Works, North London Region (Enfield, North London)
Job Type
Permanent, full‑time
Hours
Monday to Friday, 50 hours a week (3 weeks of days, 1 week of nights)
Salary
OTE £37,800 per annum (basic pay plus night premium, overtime and bonuses)

Responsibilities
 * Travelling to residential sites in a two‑person crew around the region in a custom‑equipped fleet of high‑tech vans.
 * Survey the network of drainage systems.
 * Assess pipe conditions and produce high‑quality reports with state‑of‑the‑art drain‑surveying equipment.
 * Ensure jobs attended are completed on time.
 * Troubleshoot any problems that arise on the job.
 * Liaise with the team of Technical Specialists regarding access and equipment issues.
 * Ensure safe site set‑up.
 * Update job notes on VISTEC.
 * Take photos of the setup, inspection chamber and whole site.
 * Deliver good customer service.
 * Maintain good H&S practice while carrying out works.
 * Be aware of all Lanes Group policies and your responsibilities towards them.
 * Carry out any reasonable ad‑hoc tasks, projects or duties as requested by management.
Qualifications
 * Hard working, respectful and compliant with health and safety standards.
 * Experience with OS19X useful but not essential.
 * Other drainage qualifications (e.g. NRSWA and Confined Spaces) are an advantage.
 * A full UK driver’s licence is essential; both crew members may need to drive the vehicle.
