This role is focused on data-centre networking and firewall platforms. The engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing and operating network and security infrastructure, including third-party connectivity.
Key responsibilities
* Design, implement and support data-centre network infrastructure
* Configure and support firewall platforms with a focus on Fortinet
* Support Cisco network infrastructure including ACI
* Manage and troubleshoot third-party connectivity and interconnects
* Work with service providers, carriers and customers on network integration
* Support change, incident and problem management activities
Required experience
* Strong experience in data-centre networking
* Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls, F5 load balancers
* Cisco networking experience, including ACI. Aruba switching
* Experience supporting third-party connectivity (MPLS, WAN, interconnects, cross-connects)
