This role is part of our brand-new residential service, Fernside House in Armley, Leeds.
Base pay range
Location: Fernside House, Armley, Leeds
Hours: 38.5 hours per week
Salary: £13.45 per hour (annual £26,926), hourly overtime paid at £14.95
Shift Pattern: 07:45am – 07:45pm, two‑week rolling rota:
* Week 1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun
* Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri

As a Support Worker, you will:
* Support individuals on their journey to recovery through person‑centred care in a residential setting.
* Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.
* Work within a multidisciplinary team to build positive relationships with residents.
* Provide emotional and practical support to residents.
* Promote engagement in meaningful activities and encourage social inclusion.
* Assist with daily living tasks and support residents in accessing education, employment, and the community.
* Promote independence and self‑confidence, helping residents regain control over their lives.
Experience Required
* Experience within a mental health or residential setting.
* Ability to build rapport with residents and team members.
* Understanding of the importance of person‑centred quality care.
