Role
The role is an out and out Territory Manager role and is a new business position. You will be selling the full portfolio of medical devices and consumables including suction liners, catheters, cardiology consumables, stents, wound drainage vacuums, ENT suction products, and more. You will liaise with and sell to a wide range of hospital departments including theatre managers, sisters, nurses, procurement, neonatal, ITU/CCU/ICU, material management, and EBME. You will visit around 2 hospitals a day with access to multiple departments within the hospitals and spend around 35% of time in theatre. Coverage area: North Thames region including North London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Suffolk, Norfolk & Cambridgeshire.

The Ideal Person
Amazing opportunity for someone that wants to join a good company that rewards salespeople. Look for candidates that can demonstrate sales data and proof of achievement, as well as an understanding of how you hit targets, KPI achievements, including year-on-year target percentage figures & New Business Target hitters/achievements. Ideally you will have a life science degree and be a sports person looking for someone competitive.
* Minimum 3 years sales experience, experience with cold calling
* Used to a fast-moving role with accounts under threat
* Consistently calling to ensure customers aren\'t using another provider
* Not a hard sell cold call every day; it’s about visiting many stakeholders and nurturing new business through to account management
* Cross-paths with the same people again in 6-12 months with another new product
* Commercially astute with the ability to close and a willingness to learn
What you will do
* Visit hospitals and engage with multiple departments
* Develop new business and manage accounts within a fast-moving environment
* Balance theatre time and field activity to meet targets
Requirements
* 3+ years sales experience; cold calling experience
* Life science degree preferred
* Strong ability to close and hit KPIs
