Overview
We are supporting a well-established industrial manufacturing business in Elgin who are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to support and improve quality standards across their manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and maintain quality systems and procedures across the site
* Conduct inspections and quality checks on components and finished products
* Investigate non-conformances and support root cause analysis
* Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve quality and reduce defects
* Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
* Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and process control
* Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements and industry regulations
About You
* Proven engineering experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Strong understanding of CNC machinery and processes
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience working with quality tools, inspection equipment and measurement techniques
* Practical, hands‑on approach with strong problem‑solving skills
* Good communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally
