Job Role of the Engineering Shift Manager.A strong opportunity has become available for a Engineering Shift Manager to join a respected, industry-leading FMCG manufacturing business with a reputation for excellence. The Engineering Shift Manager will benefit from working for a company recognised for quality and operational standards.The Engineering Shift Manager will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, supervising a team of engineers and Team Leaders on a day to day basis, involved in planning and organising the engineering department, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery.Sector – Factory MaintenanceNon-Negotiable Requirements of the Engineering Shift Manager
Experience in a Leadership or Supervisory roleMulti-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.Engineering Qualifications Level 3 or Above
Requirements for the Engineering Shift Manager.
Leadership and Supervisor ExperienceExperience in managing engineers on a daily basisExperience in planning and organising PPMsExperience working within a manufacturing environment.Willing to be Hands on
Desirable for the Engineering Shift Manager.Previous experience working as a Lead Engineer/Engineering Shift Team Leader/Engineering Supervisor/Engineering Manager in the UK.
