REQUIREMENTS:
* Master’s Degree or higher in professional counseling from a CACREP accredited program.
* Current valid Colorado license with appropriate endorsement(s).
* High school counselor experience is preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The following statements of essential functions and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. Actual duties and responsibilities may vary depending on building assignment and other factors determined with supervisor and/or building principal.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* College & Career Planning: ICAP, Common Application, Naviance, Work-Based Learning, concurrent enrollment and NCAA requirements.
* Develop parent and family engagement opportunities.
* Implement evidence-based SEL intervention(s) to support student social-emotional well-being (experience preferred) so students can engage in academic growth and achievement.
* Conduct threat and suicide assessments (experience preferred).
* Support students with college search/application/scholarship process.
* Support student schedule development: master scheduling and student-based 4 year planning (experience with PowerSchool preferred).
* Support attendance communication with families to ensure students’ regular attendance.
* Support the administration of district and state assessments by assisting with coordination, preparation, proctoring, and ensuring compliance with testing protocols and timelines.
* Coordinate and manage 504 Plans, including scheduling meetings, collaborating with staff and families, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and maintaining accurate documentation.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with multiple stakeholders.
* Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions by maintaining confidentiality, respecting diverse perspectives, and upholding the values and expectations of the organization.
* Other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
* Work primarily takes place in a school setting, with occasional off-site meetings, trainings, or events.
* May require some evening or weekend hours to accommodate school events, meetings, or activities.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 189 DAY CALENDAR
