This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) at EPUT.
The post is based at St Aubyn's Centre in Colchester (Longview and Larkwood wards) and Rochford Hospital (Poplar Ward), Rochford, near Southend on Sea. The role involves delivering Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions, supporting Band 5 Occupational Therapists, Apprentices, and Activity Coordinators.

The main responsibilities include:
1. Conducting occupational therapy assessments addressing performance and skill deficits in areas of self-maintenance, productivity, and leisure.
2. Utilizing specialist assessments for complex cases.
3. Deciding on appropriate treatment interventions.
4. Planning, communicating, and negotiating treatment plans with patients and carers.
5. Sharing treatment and care plans with multidisciplinary team members and partner agencies.
6. Performing manual handling assessments and ensuring safety measures are understood.
7. Collaborating to modify environments to support patient empowerment and optimal functioning.
