Junior Architectural Technician / Assistant
VOOR Architectural Design is hiring a junior Architectural Technician / Assistant to join a small, growing practice. Most of our work is in food, beverage, industrial and commercial projects, with some residential estates and one-off homes.
The focus is on how buildings are put together and delivered on site. You will work on live projects from day one, with real exposure to technical design and site visits.
The Role
You will work directly with senior staff and be involved across projects and RIBA stages.
Typical tasks include:
* Producing and developing 2D drawings in AutoCAD
* Supporting technical drawing reviews and mark ups
* Assisting with measured surveys and site visits
* Helping to prepare planning, tender and construction information
* General project support, including document control and coordination
* Emailing and calling consultants and contractors
This is a hands-on role. You will be expected to learn fast, respond promptly, and take ownership of the work you are given.
