Job Description
The governors are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic teacher to work at our school with a range of special educational needs. The post will be located at our main site in the senior department. The role involves two days of teaching per week (PPA time will be additional), working as part of a job share with an experienced teacher who currently teaches three days per week.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated, enthusiastic, and proactive team of both teaching and non-teaching staff. We are looking for a teacher with understanding and experience of working with SEND pupils.
School Overview
Kings Mill School caters for children and young people with severe or complex learning disabilities, all of whom have an Education, Health and Care plan. Many learners have challenging behaviour, autism, sensory impairments, communication and physical difficulties, and some have degenerative conditions.
