Job Title: Bid Writer/Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a talented and detail-driven Bid Writer/Manager to join a dynamic and growing construction and development business. In this pivotal role, you will support the pre-construction and business development teams by producing high-quality, compelling submissions to secure new projects across both public and private sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the bid management team to ensure aligned and consistent messaging
* Analyse tender documentation and develop clear, structured response plans
* Complete pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs) and produce tailored bid responses
* Write, review, and edit supporting documents including case studies, CVs, and methodology statements
* Maintain and enhance the bid library with up-to-date templates, project evidence, and written content
* Support process improvements across the bid writing and submission function
* Skills & Requirements:
o Proven experience in bid writing, ideally within the construction or built environment sectors
o Sound understanding of both public and private sector tendering processes
o Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
o Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
o Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively
o Comfortable working independently and engaging with internal and external stakeholders
