We’re representing a fast-growing, award-winning events and media company that is seeking a talented Account Manager to join their team and help drive the continued success of one of the UK’s most prestigious design exhibitions The Role As an Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in growing a high-profile design event by developing new business, managing key accounts, and selling both exhibition space and sponsorship packages Key Responsibilities * Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets * Maintain expected call rates, activity levels, and KPIs * Manage sponsorship and exhibitor accounts including pricing, positioning, and partnerships * Identify and convert new business opportunities within the events sector * Deliver excellent client service and ensure high levels of retention * Attend national and international industry events to represent the brand * Collaborate closely with internal sales, marketing, and operations teams * Keep CRM systems and revenue reports accurate and up to date * Contribute ideas to marketing campaigns and event development * Ensure contracts are delivered and payments are managed with credit control * Travel to meet clients when required What We’re Looking For * 1–2 years’ experience in sponsorship sales within the events sector (essential) * Strong sales skills with confidence on the phone and in client meetings * Commercially driven with a proactive, self-starting approach * Passionate about design, creativity, and the events industry * Professional, positive, and a strong team player * Willing to travel nationally and internationally to meet clients and attend events What You’ll Get * Opportunity to work on the UK’s leading design exhibition * £30,000 – £45,000 basic plus uncapped commission and significant earning potential * Structured training and clear career progression opportunities * A dynamic, creative, and inclusive company culture * Regular recognition and rewards for hitting targets * Exposure to prestigious national and international events This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated sponsorship sales professional to make an impact on a leading UK event.
