The Role
As a Disabled Children's Social Worker, you will:
* Work with children and young people with disabilities and complex needs
* Build strong, trusting relationships with families and multi-agency partners
* Complete assessments, care planning and reviews in line with statutory requirements
* Deliver meaningful interventions that improve outcomes and quality of life
Key Details
Location: Northallerton
Experience Required: Minimum 3+ years post-qualified & permanent (DfE compliant)
Caseload: Approximately 20-24 cases (manageable and realistic)
Working Pattern
Flexible arrangements reviewed based on service needs
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered)
* Strong experience within Children’s Services, ideally with disabilities
* Confident managing a varied caseload with autonomy
* Excellent safeguarding, assessment and communication skills
* A compassionate and resilient approach to frontline practice
