Expression of Interest – Data Centre Engineering Specialists
Locations – Northern UK & Northern Ireland
We invite expressions of interest for the Arup Data Centre Engineering team, delivering consulting services that reduce carbon, enhance efficiency and optimise operations for data centres.
Roles and Responsibilities
As part of the Global Data Centre team, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams – engineers, architects, project managers and clients – to deliver cutting‑edge designs that ensure reliability, efficiency and scalability of data centre operations. From concept development and detailed design to construction oversight and commissioning, you will play a key role in delivering projects of exceptional quality.

* Associate DC Technical Lead – Mechanical

Qualifications and Experience
* Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering (preferably Masters level) with Chartership status (CIBSE / IMechE / IET).
* Accomplished engineer with experience in data centre and/or other mission critical systems and facilities.
* Experience leading complex engineering projects and managing multi‑disciplinary design teams, with strong communication skills through sketching, drawing and writing.
* Strong ability to design software packages.
* Desire to develop design and project management skills on fast‑paced, highly technical projects.
