Warehouse Operative
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative for our client based in Newport. Immediate starts are available following a successful interview process.
Our client is a leading distributor of plumbing and gas parts. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business in a hands-on role with long-term potential.
Your role as a Warehouse Operative
Picking orders using manual pick sheets
Handballing items weighing between 15-25kg
Performing quality control checks
Booking items in and out of the warehouse
Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
Emergency weekly call out rota- once in every 6/7 weeks once permanentRequirements
Forklift experience (ESSNTIAL)
Driving Licence (ESSENTIAL)
English literacy and good communication skills
Strong understanding of basic mathematics (counting, division, multiplication)
Physically fit and capable of manual handling
Reliable and punctual
Available to work part-time weekday shiftsPay & Shifts
£12.42 per hour
Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 15:30
Friday: 07:00-14:30
1x 30-minute paid break & 2x 15-minute unpaid breaksWhat's in it for you?
