Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Woodstock Road, Oxford Applications are invited for a Senior Infectious Disease Modeller to join a team working with Associate Professor Koen Pouwels. This research programme focuses on understanding the burden, transmission dynamics, drivers, and impact of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in various countries, with a particular focus on low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). You will join an expanding group of infectious disease modellers and health economist based at the University of Oxford’s Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences (NDPCHS). You will also closely work with Professor Ben Cooper at the Nuffield Department of Medicine (NDM). The successful candidate will have a track record in high quality research linked to public health policy, not only evidenced by high-quality peer-reviewed publications, but also active engagement in national/international advisory committees, (grant) review boards and knowledge translation activities. You will be based in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG as your normal place of work but you will be able to agree a pattern of regular remote working with your line manager.
