Senior Civil Engineer - Water (Non-Infrastructure)
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid) - 2 days in-office / 3 days remote
Salary: £42,000-£60,000 + benefits

We're supporting a growing water-sector consultancy looking to bring in a Senior Civil Engineer to take real ownership of non-infrastructure design work — the kind of responsibility that's hard to get in the big frameworks.

What you'll focus on as a Civil Engineer
Delivering civil design for WwTW/WTP/non-infrastructure projects.
Producing calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
Leading small design workstreams and coordinating with MEICA and process teams.
Site visits, surveys, and construction support when required.
Reviewing work produced by juniors and external partners.
Ensuring compliance with UK standards and client requirements.
What you'll need
5+ years in UK water-sector civil design.
Experience on non-infrastructure assets (treatment works, pumping stations, structures, civils).
Strong grasp of Eurocodes and UK design standards.
Competent with relevant software (AutoCAD, Civil3D, Tekla/TEDDS/STAAD).
Working toward Chartership or already chartered.
