Parry are a leading manufacturer of stainless steel catering equipment and fabrications operating from our purpose-built factory in Draycott, Derbyshire.
We are looking to recruit a Fabrications Estimator to join our friendly, motivated team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a practical mindset and a keen eye for detail to build a career in fabrication estimating.
Key Duties:
* Prepare accurate and timely fabrication quotations based on client requirements
* Follow up on quotations to maximise conversion rates and respond to customer queries
* Assess project requirements, including reviewing and interpreting technical drawings or specifications (in-house training provided)
* Develop and build client relationships to maximise opportunities and new business
* Liaising with colleagues and customers
* Develop a strong technical understanding of our products and the industry
* General ad-hoc administrative tasks
Requirements:
* Possess a positive attitude and aptitude to learn
* Estimating experience or a background in the manufacturing/fabrication industry would be advantageous but not required
* Excellent numerical skills and a keen eye for detail
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload
Fabrications Estimator Renumeration:
* Pay: £12.25+, dependent on experience
* Working hours - 40 hours per week Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 5pm
* Company pension & holiday allowance
* On-site parking
