We are partnering with Think Ahead, a charity working with NHS and Local Authority mental health services to strengthen social work. We’re taking on four trainee social workers joining in August 2024. This is a great opportunity for an experienced social worker to become a Consultant Social Worker/Associate Consultant Social Worker.
In this role you will:
* Join a network of leaders promoting mental health social work.
* Lead and develop four passionate participants.
* Develop skills in practice, supervision, and education.
* Receive fully funded CPD training with Middlesex University.
* Be paid at grade 14.
This full-time, permanent position involves managing a unit of four participants in an adult mental health service, maintaining a frontline role, sharing a caseload, and providing practice education of outstanding quality. You will work with an academic tutor to assess participants’ ability to apply social work theories, interventions, and legislation.

Requirements
You must be a registered social worker with significant experience working with adults with complex mental health needs. You should possess enthusiasm, confidence, and authority to inspire others. Personal qualities should include:
