SPX Radiodetection is seeking a practical and proactive Service Technician to join our dedicated team of six in Bristol. This is a hands-on role focusing primarily on service work (approx. 75%) with some repair-level tasks (approx. 25%). About the Role
As a Service Technician, youll be responsible for:
* Servicing, diagnosing faults, and calibrating electronic products using specialised test rigs
* Conducting fault diagnosis and repairs including soldering and rework
* Maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring repeatable, cost-effective methods
* Using our internal IFS system to complete administrative tasks
* Liaising with customers via phone, email, and in person as needed
* Working to productivity targets and supporting the wider service team
What We're Looking For
* Experience in a similar hands-on electronics service or repair role
* Good understanding of electronics and strong soldering skills
* Proactive, team-oriented, and able to work independently
* Basic IT literacy and ability to use internal systems (training will be provided)
