About the Role

A growing SME based on the outskirts of Southampton, widely regarded as a local success story are seeking a Management Accountant to join the finance team.

Reporting to the FD this is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who’s passionate about delivering insightful financial analysis and driving business performance.

As a Management Accountant, you’ll play a key role in producing accurate financial information, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring robust financial control across the business.


Key Responsibilities

* Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes
* Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decisions
* Monitor and report on key financial performance indicators
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain accurate financial records
* Work closely with department heads to understand financial drivers and improve cost efficiency
* Maximise ERP functionality to track gross profit margins and variance rebates
