We are currently seeking enthusiastic and energetic Senior Quantity Surveyors to join our infrastructure cost management team, supporting our growth and making a difference in UK infrastructure projects.
You will be a Senior Cost Manager working on water/utilities projects in the Peterborough area.
Job Objectives:
1. Establish professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and project parties.
2. Administer contracts according to project policies.
3. Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
4. Manage cost variance and contract cash flow proactively.
5. Collaborate with teams to deliver project KPIs, including cost control and value engineering.
6. Manage contract changes effectively, ensuring governance and best practices.
7. Improve forecast and budget accuracy.
8. Provide commercial support to stakeholders.
9. Negotiate and finalize accounts.
10. Lead teams and commissions as needed.
Preferred experience includes:
* Contract Management (NEC3, Option C preferred)
* Cost and change management
* Procurement and reporting
* Collaborative approach and efficiency improvements
* Knowledge of technical construction matters
* Degree in a relevant subject and professional membership or progression towards it
