Keep critical defence programmes moving through expert material planning.
The role
As a Material Planner, you’ll play a vital role in enabling operations by ensuring accurate, timely and compliant material planning across Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul activity. Working closely with Operations, Planning, PMO and material subject matter experts, you’ll support material enablement for MRO delivery and associated Contract Change Notices.
Responsibilities
* Supporting effective material management, working with operations and planning teams to enable MRO delivery
* Maintaining accurate material data, partnering with the Material Data Controller to identify issues and delays early
* Completing material assessments, in line with policies, processes and service level agreements
* Managing authority dependencies, advising on escalation and relief claims where required
* Ensuring accurate reporting, maintaining material data and compliance within SAP and MJDI systems
Essential experience
* Supporting effective material management, working with operations and planning teams to enable MRO delivery

Qualifications
* Materiel Accountant and UAA training courses are advantageous
Security Clearance
Candidate must be a sole UK National able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance. Positions may be subject to national security clearance and trade control restrictions.
