Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for a Stores Operative to join our Operations team based at our Bishops Cleeve site. The role: As part of our Stores team, you’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by ensuring stock is accurately controlled, safely stored, and efficiently distributed. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business to make sure the right parts are in the right place at the right time, helping us maintain our reputation for quality and reliability. Picking, storing, and issuing materials in line with procedures Maintaining accurate stock records within our ERP system Keeping the stores safe, clean, and well organised Following stock location processes and ensuring compliance with HSE and strict quality standards Identifying and suggesting continuous improvements to enhance efficiency About you: At Ontic, our culture is integral to making sure we enjoy our work and deliver for our customers. A positive attitude, self-motivation, and pride in your work Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment Minimum of 12 months’ experience in a stores/warehouse environment (desirable) Working knowledge of stock control systems and ERP systems GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English Experience in aerospace or manufacturing is desirable, but not essential Benefits: At Ontic we care about your financial, physical, and mental wellbeing.
