Job Summary
As an advanced Occupational Health Specialist nurse you will be an outstanding leader, providing senior clinical input, support, guidance and advice to the OHA multidisciplinary team within the Occupational Health department. You will work collaboratively with the Head of Occupational Health and other stakeholders to develop the OHA team, undertake comprehensive OH assessments, deliver impartial, evidence‑based high‑quality reports, and deputise for the Head on leave.
Main duties of the job
You will support the team with complex case management, attend case conferences and absence meetings with HR, audit and train staff to maintain a high‑quality, impartial service, liaise with senior management and represent the Occupational Health department at meetings such as IPCC, outbreak, flu and wellbeing sessions, and work closely with the Head of Health and Wellbeing to align with the Trust’s vision for health and wellbeing.
