We are looking for a confident, experienced RVN to join Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists as a part‑time Night Veterinary Nurse (4 on, 10 off every other week).
Responsibilities
As an OOH Veterinary Nurse you will deliver advanced nursing care within our dedicated wards facility, supporting the case management of a variety of complex cases. You’ll work collaboratively within the night team, contributing specialist nursing expertise to patient care, supporting clinical decision‑making and sharing knowledge with colleagues to continually improve standards.
Your shift is 19:00‑08:00 and you will support a range of inpatient medical and surgical cases across our dog wards, ICU/high‑dependency unit and cat ward.

* Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
* Significant experience in clinical practice with an interest in OOHs and wards nursing.
* Experience working with complex cases in a referral or advanced‑care setting is advantageous.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
* Commitment to evidence‑based practice, clinical governance, and continuous improvement.
