1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Monmouth

Academics are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Monmouth. This role is based within a Learning Resource Base, working 1:1 with a pupil with ALN, helping to support their educational, emotional, and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored 1:1 support to a pupil with ALN, helping them access and engage with the curriculum.
Assist in implementing and monitoring individual learning and support plans.
Collaborate with the class teacher and SEN team to foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Prepare and deliver appropriate learning resources and materials.

Requirements:
Previous experience in a SEN or ALN support role (essential).
1:1 support experience with ALN pupils (desirable).
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply - we can help).
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) - support provided if needed.
Two recent, professional references.
