Salary: S01 £34,434-£36,363 FTE (£31,083-£32,824 actual per year) Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week, term-time plus 2 weeks Closing Date: Monday 17th November 2025 at 9am Start Date: ASAP The Behaviour Coordinator will: Respond and deal effectively with behaviour incidents. Promote a positive, optimistic attitude to learning and achievement and act as a role model. Provide support to individual, and groups of students, promoting pupil engagement. Challenge and motivate pupils, and take advantage of opportunities to improve, promote and reinforce self-esteem. Under advice from senior staff, devise programmes of support for pupils, either through group work or individual support. Provide information and advice to enable students to make choices about their own learning and behaviour. Create and maintain effective intervention strategies and contribute to the development of individual action plans. Develop a mentoring relationship with students needing support, aimed at achieving the objectives in their individual action plans. Attend review meetings (including safeguarding meetings, as appropriate). Monitor the progress of support and provide feedback to teachers, parents, students and other appropriate professionals.
