Principal duties:
* Picking and packing orders to a high standard
* Loading and unloading vehicles in safe manner
* Recording information on pick sheets.
* Liaising and communicating with team members effectively
* Identifying issues within the area and feeding back to team leader/ manager
* Giving clear information on issues
* Keeping areas clean and tidy
* Ensure that effective implementation of the company Health & Safety policy is maintained and that all legislation pertaining to safety, COSHH and environmental rulings are complied with.
* Ensure risk assessments and safe operating procedures are adhered to at all times.
* Undertake designated tasks as allocated by Managers.
Experience or skills that would be desirable:
* Previous experience in a warehouse role (Preferred)
* Effective organisational and time management skills: (Preferred)
* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely: (Preferred)
* Work under own initiative and be a good team player (Preferred)
Required skills and responsibilities:
* Counterbalance FLT licence
* Warehouse experience
* Understanding of housekeeping requirements
* Excellent information sharing skills
* Organisational skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Effective communication skills
* Documentation skills
* Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements with a strong safety focus.
* Ability to follow instruction
