We are seeking a candidate to fulfill the following responsibilities:
1. Taking instructions from clients and assisting with legal advice, including obtaining evidence and achieving appropriate resolutions.
2. Achieving time recording and fee income targets to ensure profitability.
3. Attending and contributing to team and practice area meetings, complying with directions and decisions.
4. Staying updated with changes in relevant law and practice, attending training to maintain current legal knowledge.
5. Liaising with stakeholders such as case managers and fee earners regarding care issues on employed care packages, including changes of hours and conduct investigations.
6. Assisting with client financial management under supervision, including paying invoices, purchasing equipment, setting up bank accounts, managing utilities, and preparing spreadsheets.
7. Liaising with the Court of Protection.
About You
1. Empathy and compassion to support clients through challenging circumstances.
2. A friendly, enthusiastic, can-do attitude.
3. Previous paralegal experience, especially within Court of Protection, is preferred but not required.
4. A passion for personal law.
