Role
The Impact Manager will play a key role in delivering the School’s impact strategy across a large, national research portfolio.
Working closely with the SSCR Director and Programme Manager, you will oversee impact activity across projects and partner institutions, ensuring that impact is systematically captured, evidenced and reported. You will lead the commissioning and management of impact funding calls, support researchers to strengthen impact delivery, and contribute to reporting to NIHR and governance groups.
This is a varied role requiring strong organisational skills, the ability to work across multiple stakeholders, and confidence in analysing and presenting complex information.
This is a fixed-term contract until 30 April 2029.
Skills, Experience & Qualification needed
1. Experience of research impact monitoring, coordination or reporting
2. Experience managing a funding process or competitive call
3. Experience working across multiple stakeholders or institutions
4. Experience analysing and presenting complex information
5. Strong organisational and planning skills
6. Excellent written communication skills
