Our client is seeking a Design Technology Technician to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Manchester. This is a full-time role beginning in April 2026, supporting teaching and learning across DT subjects.
DT Technician required on a full-time basis

Strong emphasis on practical learning

The successful DT Technician will ensure workshops are safe, organised, and fully prepared for practical lessons.
Key Responsibilities
• Preparing tools, materials, and equipment for lessons
• Maintaining machinery and workshop resources
• Ensuring health and safety compliance
• Managing stock and ordering supplies
• Supporting student projects and displays
• Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
Experience and Qualifications
• Experience in a DT or workshop environment desirable
• Practical skills and confidence with tools
• Strong awareness of safety procedures
• Organised and reliable approach
• Legal right to work in the UK
