We need proven experience leading cloud engineering teams and enterprise-scale cloud platforms. We need an excellent understanding of cloud security, governance, and automation best practices. Responsibilities: We lead the design, delivery, and optimisation of cloud infrastructure and tooling. We develop and maintain our multi-cloud platform across AWS and Google Cloud. We drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency. We work alongside senior enterprise architecture teams to evolve our cloud engineering target architecture. We ensure all cloud services align with our development, security, and cloud standards. We support delivery teams with strategic technical guidance and cloud engineering expertise. We participate in governance groups including Technical Design Authority and Cyber Security forums. We contribute to policy and procedure development to support a robust cloud platform. We mentor junior team members and support the growth and development of our Cloud Engineering team. We ensure cloud solutions meet our objectives around security, financial prudence, inclusion, sustainability, and transparency.
