About The Role
We’re looking for a Metering Strategy & Technical Operations Manager to shape and lead metering activity across Northumbrian Water Group. This high‑impact role combines long‑term strategic thinking with day‑to‑day operational leadership, at the heart of how we deliver great outcomes for customers and support a more sustainable future. You’ll set the direction for metering over a 10‑year horizon, translating strategy into clear plans and safe, efficient delivery. You’ll oversee performance, cost, quality, and customer experience across the end‑to‑end metering value chain while acting as a key interface into business planning, water resources, leakage and wider strategic programmes.
This role also owns metering‑related procurement and in‑life contract management of our metering partners, technical standards and complex metering solutions.
Please note: This role can be based in either of our Head Offices, Essex or Durham.
