Job Summary:
We seek a passionate designer with an interest in science, education, and data visualization. You understand what makes a great design, from typography to technical considerations, and thrive in a fast-paced agency environment.
Responsibilities:
* Create visually engaging graphics for medical education materials across digital and print channels, including scientific publications, presentations, and posters.
* Ensure complete understanding of each creative brief and deliver projects on time.
* Collaborate with creative, art, copywriting, and medical teams to translate client requirements into compelling designs.
* Work effectively within a team structure.
* Contribute to design strategy, suggesting styles and techniques based on client needs, objectives, and budget.
* Present design solutions for approval before final delivery.
* Create custom scientific figures, data visualizations, and graphic elements.
* Develop innovative design concepts and sample layouts based on your expertise.
* Partner with team members to deliver high-quality creative work consistently.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent international degree.
* Experience in healthcare or communications environments.
* Experience designing graphics for scientific publications.
* Strong interest in science and scientific ideas.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
* Knowledge of integrating design into Microsoft PowerPoint.
Note: We have adopted a hybrid work model with offices in New York, Chicago, Boston, San Francisco, Carmel (IN), Manchester (UK), Edinburgh (UK), and London (UK). Employees near these offices are expected to attend in person two days a week. Others work remotely with quarterly in-person gatherings. We support flexibility and collaboration in our workplace.
