An exciting opportunity has arisen for a position within the Medical Equipment Management Service at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, to support the delivery of a medical equipment management service.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support for the management of external contracts for maintenance and repair of medical equipment within NHS Lothian.
* Support the delivery of the medical equipment management service at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
Qualifications and Experience
* Education to HND level in a business administration discipline or equivalent training and experience.
* Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work effectively within a team.
* Permanent position based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh; may involve travelling and working at various hospitals in Lothian.
* Must hold a PVG Scheme membership/record. If not a current member, must apply to Disclosure Scotland and be deemed satisfactory before beginning employment.
* Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, may require a different level of criminal records check. If assessed as a regulated role, appointment will be subject to joining the PVG Scheme.
