The role requires deep industry experience to assess, design, and implement end-to-end investment management processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while driving operational efficiency and scalability. The successful candidate will work closely with operational, finance, and IT teams to translate client needs into business and technical requirements, supporting strategic, regulatory, and transformation initiatives. This role demands a strong understanding of front, middle, and back-office systems, regulatory frameworks such as FCA and PRA, and the ability to lead process improvements that enhance operational resilience and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Act as a subject matter expert in asset management and transfer agency processes, focusing on regulatory compliance and process improvement. Conduct value assessments and detailed analysis of current client processes, identifying gaps and recommending enhancements. Translate business needs into comprehensive business requirements, technical specifications, and user requirement documents. Design and implement end-to-end investment management processes including client onboarding, transaction processing, and investment recording. Collaborate closely with operational, finance, and IT teams to ensure solutions arescalable, robust, and compliant with regulatory standards. Lead or support regulatory remediation projects, particularly related to AML,client onboarding, and operational resilience. Engage with clients at a senior level to provide consultancy and guidance onprocess and technology improvements. Support platform evaluations and RFP/RFI processes for technologyreplacements or upgrades. Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies to work collaboratively with clients andinternal teams throughout project lifecycles. Coordinate cross-functional teams, demonstrating project management skills toensure timely delivery of solutions. Required Technical Skills Mandatory Minimum 5-10 years experience in business analysis within assetmanagement, investment management, or life insurance sectors. Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks including FCA, PRA, AML, MiFID II,EMIR, and ESG principles. Experience with transfer agency and investment platform systems such asGBST Composer, FNZ, TCube, and similar. Proficiency in drafting business requirements, technical specifications, anduser requirement documents. Understanding of front, middle, and back-office investment managementprocesses and transaction lifecycle. Experience with process improvement, regulatory remediation, and operationalresilience planning. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum project delivery methodologies. Strong data analysis, reporting, and automation skills to reduce reliance onmanual processes. Strong Advantage Professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), CharteredInstitute of Management Accountants (CIMA), or equivalent business degree. Experience working with major asset management firms or transfer agencyproviders such as Apex, SS&C, FNZ, or Alpha FMC. Knowledge of client onboarding models including reliance models and theirregulatory implications. Experience in technology platform evaluation, RFP/RFI processes, andimplementation projects. Project management experience or ability to coordinate multi-disciplinaryteams.
