We are recruiting a Clinical Manager for Cygnet St Williams, a 12‑bed neuropsychiatric service based in St. Williams. The role is full time, 40 hours a week (8‑4 or 9‑5). The service offers care and treatment to those affected by acquired brain injuries and provides long‑term placements for progressive neurological conditions such as Huntington’s disease. The service has been rated Outstanding in Well‑led by the Care Quality Commission and Good across all other domains.
Responsibilities
* Ensure that the highest standard of clinical care is provided.
* Co‑ordinate all clinical aspects of the service and ensure collaboration between clinicians.
* Know and implement all relevant policies, procedures and regulations.
* Update legal documentation in consultation with colleagues, in accordance with company guidelines, NMC guidelines, legislation and current research.
* Support staff in delivering a high standard of care through regular appraisals, training and development of evidence‑based practice.
* Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of statutory law and ensure compliance.
* Work closely with the Hospital Manager to resolve concerns and provide cohesive leadership.
* Act as required by the Hospital Manager.

Qualifications
* Registered mental health nurse (RMN/RNLD) or equivalent, with a valid pin number and at least five years’ nursing experience.
* Currently working as a Clinical Manager, Ward Manager or has significant experience in a Senior Nursing role.
* Strong leadership, clinical and regulatory knowledge.
* Excellent relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience in an acute, rehabilitation, mental health or forensic psychiatry setting.
* Evidence of functioning in a supervisory role as a clinician within a multi‑disciplinary team.
* Appropriate leadership and management qualifications.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
