Senior Buyer - Indirects (Corporate and Professional Services)
HOURS: 40 Hours Monday - Friday

We're looking for a Senior Buyer who will support the development and delivery of category strategies, sourcing activities, and supplier management across our Indirect category within Corporate and Professional Services.
Role Responsibilities
* Support and lead on strategic procurement activities.
* Manage complex, high‑value sourcing projects and negotiations, identifying competitive supply options.
* Negotiate with and influence suppliers to secure best market value.
* Identify opportunities for cost reduction and value optimisation within the business.
* Work with suppliers to resolve performance issues and drive improvements.
* Develop and implement category strategies aligned to business requirements.
* Support internal stakeholders across cost, quality, reliability, and delivery targets.
* Build strong cross‑functional relationships to gather, assess and challenge business requirements.
* Maintain and enhance the Supplier Management Programme, ensuring performance is monitored and improved.
* Manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a trusted commercial presence.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Applicants must meet the requirements below:
* Proven procurement experience with ownership of category and workload
* Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical and customer‑facing skills.
* Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
* Experience working in a fast‑paced, problem‑solving environment.
* Demonstrable stakeholder management experience with a focus on strategy implementation and risk mitigation.
* Ability to manage conflict and resolve issues effectively.
* CIPS qualification is preferred but not essential.
