Part-time Nanny

Job Description

We are looking for a part-time (live out) nanny to look after our 12 month old son (born 11 September 2024), starting on Monday 15 September 2025. The position is located in Woburn Sands. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced, reliable, with an enthusiasm for childcare and a passion for early learning and development. They will be kind in nature and bring a positive, nurturing presence to our home. The ideal candidate would enjoy cooking healthy meals for children and engaging in creative and enjoyable activities that help the baby's development and encourage curiosity. Our priority is ensuring that the baby is healthy, happy, safe and cared for while we are occupied by work. Our ideal outcome each day, would be that once we have finished work, all regular daily errands relating to the baby are complete and we are able to spend quality time with him. The candidate would also be willing to perform household duties.

Responsibilities and Expectations

· General nanny duties.

· All laundry relating to the baby.

· Tidying and keeping the areas of the house related to the baby clean and tidy, such as the baby's bedroom and kitchen.

· Washing bottles, baby gear and toys.

· Keeping note and letting us know if any of the baby supplies are getting low.

· Suggest anything needed that could be good for the baby.

· (Full day) Preparing meals (breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner) for the baby and feeding him. A meal plan for each week would be great to see. (Repetition of meals on some days or weeks is fine). Providing a list of ingredients you need one week ahead, or adding the items to a click and collect online shopping list. (We can collect it).

· (Wrap around days) Preparing meals (snacks and dinner) for the baby and feeding him.

· Transporting the baby to and from nursery (Woburn Sands). Either on foot or in your own car.

· Taking the baby to any doctor's appointments on a full day (if we are unable to take him).

· Keeping the baby safe and happy during your care.

· Being our eyes and ears at the nursery. Highlighting any concerns you may have regarding care received or other issues at the nursery.

· Engaging in age appropriate activities, learning and outings (any additional costs can be agreed beforehand and covered by us, the employer).

· Other ad-hoc household duties.
