We’re looking for an experienced leader to join Chorley Leisure. This is an exciting opportunity to help lead the delivery of the leisure contract on behalf of Chorley Borough Council, supporting the Leisure Contract Manager in overseeing the operational and commercial performance of the business. We’re looking for a manager experienced in managing both operational and commercial elements within a business, with a background in leisure, hospitality or a similar customer-facing industry. You’ll have experience managing multiple facilities and ensuring objectives, targets and projects are met. What you’ll be getting up to: You’ll support the Contract Manager in the delivery of the Chorley Leisure Business Plan You’ll manage a diverse team of leaders who oversee facilities, aquatics, sales and retail and group exercise You’ll lead and support the delivery of outstanding customer experience across all Chorley Leisure’s sites and provide effective leadership to all colleagues You’ll deputise for the Contract Manager in their absence, attending meetings and presenting reports to our colleagues within Chorley Council You’ll be proactive in your approach to continuous development and ensure that all health, safety and risk is managed effectively Who we’re looking for: We’re looking for a confident leader - you’ll be managing staff in a multi-disciplined environment. You’ll have experience of achieving agreed financial targets You’ll have strong operational management experience and be comfortable delivering a contract to agreed objectives.
