Position: Collection & Delivery Driver
Pay: £14.04 per hour
Location: Crawley
Hours: Monday to Friday (Full-time, ongoing temporary role)
About the Role
As a Collection & Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for driving a long wheelbase van to collect and deliver parcels efficiently and safely. You’ll play a key role in ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy a physically active job and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct vehicle safety checks before each shift.
2. Plan and follow a dedicated delivery route (PDA provided).
3. Collect parcels from various locations.
4. Deliver parcels to households and businesses.
5. Load and unload parcels (up to 30kg).
6. Provide friendly and professional customer service.
Requirements
1. Full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
2. Experience driving a long wheelbase van.
3. Strong customer service and communication skills.
4. Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 30kg).
5. Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills.
6. Flexible and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
